All water filters need proper maintenance, which is crucial, or they may no longer be able to clean the water properly. For better performance and increased life of the system, we recommend cartridge replacement and service of the system every 3 months.
HOW IT WORKS
Aqua SoftPro 3-stage water filtration system is equipped with 3 separate filter stages.
1st Stage (SEDIMENT FILTER)
In the first stage, sediment filtration is done. The Sediment Filter is an absolute 1&5-micron rate Polypropylene Fiber Cartridge that uses 3-layers density technology which helps to remove the dust, rust & other suspended particle from the water like Silt, Scale, Sediment, Coarse Sand, and Sand. It offers high purity and longer service time with an extended surface area and has a speck of great dirt-holding capacity.
2nd Stage (GAC FILTER)
In the second stage, the water passes through the GAC (granular activated carbon) filter, which is a proven option to get rid of bad odors & bad flavors by removing certain chemicals from the water, particularly the organic chemicals. The Granular Activated Carbon filter contains NSF-certified activated coconut shell carbon which has a tremendous capacity and is a great way to remove chlorine, organics, color, tannin, and objectionable tastes and odors from the water.
3rd Stage (CTO CARBON BLOCK FILTER)
In the third stage, a CTO (Chlorine, taste, odor) Carbon Block filter is used to reduce cloudiness, VOCs, chlorine, organic chemicals, unnatural tastes, and odors found in tap water. The main advantage of carbon block filters is that it has a larger surface area and a better pollutant removal capacity than GAC filters. Water stays in contact with carbon for a longer period here which eliminates all the remaining odors hence making your water clearer in color with a more appealing taste.
